STRATEGIES! Is recruiting a Community Manager

A. Roles and responsibilities

Working in collaboration with the content creator, the community manager:

● Develops and implements a social media presence strategy for STRATEGIES!

● Plans and coordinates a communication strategy for the company's online events and products.

● Is responsible for content management of the website and other social media channels.

● Builds and animates communities around certain themes

● Ensures regular presence and interaction with the STRATEGIES! audience.

● Is responsible for regular brand building and visibility of STRATEGIES! on social media channels.

● Collaborates with external partners such as writers, marketing or advertising agencies.

B. Required skills

Candidates must demonstrate:

● Experience in social media management

● Strong analytical and writing skills

● Ability to create, structure and implement a communication strategy.

● An ability to write clearly and adapt style and content to different audiences.

● Strong strategic thinking skills

● An ability to work independently, flexibly and under pressure.

● Flexibility to respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

● The qualities of a productive and efficient, highly motivated worker.

● A command of content monitoring and analysis tools: Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Facebook Analytics, etc.

● Good knowledge of basic graphic design tools, such as Canva.

● An ability to manage online campaigns and use tools such as Google Ads, Twitter Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.

● Skills that would be a great advantage:
        ·  Good understanding of the private sector and/or development issues
        ·  Strong presentation skills

C - Academic qualifications

● A postgraduate degree in communications, journalism or another relevant field.

D - Experience:

● Proven experience in producing articles, blogs and communication content.

● Use of online platforms for communication

● Knowledge of social media: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. is an advantage.

● Experience in corporate and/or institutional communication would be an advantage.


E - Language skills

● Fluency in English and French is required (written and spoken) - with an emphasis on English.

● Strong listening skills
